A Bachelors degree requires 4 years. My goal is to complete my bachelors in 4 or less years. I believe everything has its ups and downs. You must face many obstacles to actually succeed. It's like a test you must go through to see weather your capable of sustaining your goal. In the end you will have a feeling of satisfaction knowing you accomplished your set goals. However, there are many things you must complete to be able to reach your goal. Being a student can sometimes be easy as well as extremely hard.
It all starts with you believing In yourself. Being a straight A student consist of persistence in class. Participation also plays a major part in your grade. Myself as a student am expected to meet a standard of passing but also reaching the highest. Many colleges have different rules and regulations. I've notices my 3 teachers at LAGCC are more about creativity and the art of the mind. Therefore, a student is expected to stand out in there own unique ways. A teacher must see you fighting for that higher grade. You need motivation and determination. However, all these responsibilities can cause a down side.
A lot of people suffer of depression and panic attacks due to stressful situations. Such as completing goals. Work, school and family are three categories that effect your pursuit towards a better future In an unintentional way. There just daily stress we don't ever learn to deal with. If you have a job and is having financial issues, a job can be really not worth loosing. You may perform poorly in school due to your job. The help you need in paying school may pressure you into having a certain standard. You then become stress because you are afraid of failing. Your family can push you so hard into doing good they push you off the road to success. Frustration can get into action, causing you to loose interest. These are test testing you into being a strong achiever.
In the end, setting goals Is a very challenging process. However, after succeeding you feel a great amount of excitement. Students must think of different creative ways of accomplishing your goals. As Ken Robinson mentioned “schools train our brains into the basic material but not into what you really want to do.”
